Red Dirt music pioneers Turnpike Troubadours will take the stage at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on Sunday, August 17. Hailing from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the band has become a defining force in the genre, known for their loyal fanbase and impactful sound.
After releasing five acclaimed albums and establishing themselves as key figures in the Red Dirt scene, the band took a three-year hiatus in 2019 to focus on personal clarity and reflection. Their return was met with enthusiasm, as they came back stronger than ever with their sixth studio album, A Cat in the Rain.
