Tulsa is about to take a trip back to the early 2000s as the Pop 2000 Tour rolls into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Thursday, May 22, at 8 p.m. The nostalgic concert event will be hosted by *NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick and features performances from iconic boy bands O-Town, Ryan Cabrera, and LFO.
The Pop 2000 Tour promises to revive the unforgettable moments of TRL and late-night pop culture, bringing fans an evening filled with the chart-topping hits that defined a generation.
Kirkpatrick, best known as a founding member of *NSYNC, will host the tour. Beyond his music career, Kirkpatrick’s work includes voice acting as Chip Skylark on “The Fairly Oddparents” and appearances on “Celebrity Big Brother” and “The Masked Singer.”
O-Town gained fame through the reality series Making the Band, with hits like “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing.” The latter earned a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2001 Radio Music Awards.
Singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera, known for tracks such as “On the Way Down” and “True,” rose to prominence in the early 2000s with his album Take It All Away, which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200.
LFO, one of the era’s defining groups with hits like “Summer Girls” and “Girl on TV,” continues to live on through Brad Fischetti, the sole remaining member, who carries on the band’s legacy for both old and new fans.
