Zach Bryan is set to make history in 2025 with a monumental performance at Michigan Stadium, the largest stadium in the United States. The country star will headline the inaugural concert at the iconic venue on September 27. The show will feature a star-studded lineup, with John Mayer, Ryan Bingham, the Texas Gentlemen, and Joshua Slone also on the bill.
Tickets for the highly anticipated concert will go on sale this Friday, February 14, at 10 a.m. local time via AXS. Expressing his excitement, Bryan shared on Instagram: “Playing in Ann Arbor with some heroes and good pals of mine! I love you guys so much… Thankful is an understatement.”
Known as the “Big House,” Michigan Stadium is primarily the home of the University of Michigan football team. Although it has hosted various sporting events, it has never held a concert before. University of Michigan’s Director of Athletics, Warde Manuel, commented that the school had been “studying and evaluating what it takes to host a concert at Michigan Stadium for a couple of years,” and this event marks a significant step in that journey.
With a seated capacity of 107,601, Michigan Stadium is not only the largest in the U.S. but also the largest in the Western Hemisphere. It ranks as the third-largest stadium globally, behind Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, and Rungrado 1st of May Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea.
After an extensive 2024 tour, Bryan has limited shows scheduled for 2025, but each is expected to be a major event. He will headline Stagecoach in Indio, California, in April, followed by performances in Dublin and London in June. Bryan will also play three shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in July and another at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park in August.
In addition to his tour schedule, Bryan teased an upcoming film documenting the making of his “final major-label album,” titled Motorbreath, though further details are yet to be revealed.
