Cash Cobain, Bay Swag, and New Orleans rap music star Rob49 have teamed up for the release of their latest single, “Trippin on a Yacht,” a laid-back anthem that captures the essence of luxury and carefree vibes. The track, which arrives in the midst of Super Bowl celebrations, showcases Cash Cobain’s signature blend of catchy hooks and effortless flows.
On the chorus, Cobain reflects on a night out, saying, “I think I gotta take another shot/I think I fell in love with a thot/The Don Julio got me hot,” setting the tone for a wild, hedonistic ride. Rob49 joins in with his own verses, rapping, “If you’re pretty and seductive, you a bad bitch/Yeah, I’m trippin’, I’m trippin’ on a yacht/It’s shot o’ clock, I don’t need a watch.”
The single follows Cash Cobain and Bay Swag’s previous collaborations, including the viral hit “Fisherrr,” which gained further popularity with a remix featuring Ice Spice. It also marks Cobain’s first release as a lead artist since his August 2024 album Play Cash Cobain.
In a recent interview, Cobain shared his ambitions beyond just being an artist, noting his interest in executive producing and elevating his brand through new collaborations. “I wanna be so much more than an artist. I just executive-produced two albums,” he said. “I’m going to take this little run I got, and then I’m going to disappear.”
