Oakland-based progressive black metal band Dawn of Ouroboros has just released a visually striking music video for their track “Slipping Burgundy,” taken from their upcoming album Bioluminescence. The new album is set for release in March 2025 via Prosthetic Records.
Guitarist Tony Thomas shared that the band’s latest work draws heavy influence from the surreal, atmospheric elements found in David Lynch’s films, particularly Twin Peaks. “Slipping Burgundy” captures the eerie essence of the Black Lodge, both in its haunting mood and its visual aesthetic, which was intentionally crafted to reflect the unsettling tone of Lynch’s iconic work. Fans can expect a chilling fusion of dark, introspective vibes and the band’s signature sound.
