German thrash metal band Warfield has dropped a striking new music video for their track “Soul Conqueror,” taken from their forthcoming album With The Old Breed, set for release in April via Napalm Records.
The song draws inspiration from the psychological tactics of American warfare during the Vietnam War, specifically Operation Wandering Soul. The track captures the eerie atmosphere of the Vietnam jungles, with the voices of restless spirits broadcasted over loudspeakers to influence locals. Warfield describes the song as uncompromising, atmospheric, and haunting, bringing the horrors of war into musical form.
