French metalcore band LANDMVRKS has dropped their intense new single, “Blood Red,” from their upcoming album The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been, due out on April 25 via Arising Empire. The official music video for the track will premiere on February 20, adding a chilling visual element to the song’s dark narrative.
“Blood Red” continues the album’s exploration of a protagonist lost in a self-created dark world, grappling with themes of fear, confinement, and a desperate plea for redemption. The band’s raw lyrics describe the protagonist’s emotional torment, symbolized by “tears stained blood red.”
Following the success of singles like “Sulfur / Sombre 16” and “A Line In The Dust,” featuring Matt Welsh of While She Sleeps, LANDMVRKS continue to push creative boundaries. With over 1 million monthly Spotify listeners, the band is set to make a powerful impact with their most ambitious album yet.
Fans can also catch LANDMVRKS on their extensive North American tour starting in March. Dates are available online.
