Lee Soo-man, the visionary founder of SM Entertainment and a key figure in the rise of K-pop, has officially launched his new agency, A2O Entertainment, in October 2024. Just two months after its inception, the company introduced its first act, A2O MAY—a five-member girl group from China.
The group’s debut single is an adaptation of Sarah Connor’s “Under My Skin,” presented in both English and Chinese versions, and is a reimagining of TVXQ’s iconic “Mirotic.” The release has already gained significant traction online, racking up 10.7 million views on Weibo and 9.4 million views on YouTube. A2O MAY marks Lee’s first idol group debut since his departure from SM Entertainment in 2022.
