The BRIT Awards 2025 has announced the final additions to its performer lineup, with Sam Fender and Lola Young set to take the stage at the highly anticipated ceremony. The event, scheduled for March 1 at The O2 Arena in London, will feature a dynamic slate of performers, including Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, JADE, The Last Dinner Party, and Myles Smith.
Both Fender and Young are in the spotlight ahead of the awards. Fender is gearing up for the release of his new album, People Watching, on February 21, just days before his major summer tour, which includes performances at iconic venues like the London Stadium and St. James’ Park in Newcastle. Meanwhile, Young continues her chart dominance with her hit single “Messy,” which has held the No. 1 spot on the U.K. Singles Chart for four consecutive weeks. The track, from her second album This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway, gained significant traction after going viral, and it also reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. Young’s success marks the longest reign at No. 1 by a British female artist since Adele’s 2021 hit “Easy on Me.”
Both artists are nominated for awards on the night, with Fender competing for Best Rock/Alternative Act and Young vying for Best Pop Act. The genre categories are determined by fan votes, while the general categories are decided by the BRITs Voting Academy.
