Seulgi, the talented member of Red Velvet, is gearing up for the release of her second solo EP, Accidentally On Purpose, scheduled for March 10, according to her label SM Entertainment.
The upcoming mini-album will feature six tracks, with the lead single titled “Baby, Not Baby.” This release follows her successful solo debut EP, 28 Reasons, which launched nearly two and a half years ago. 28 Reasons made a major impact, topping the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 30 regions and selling over 184,000 copies within its first week, securing a place among the top five K-pop solo female releases at the time.
Earlier this month, Seulgi teased her new project with a cryptic photo shared around her birthday. In addition to her solo comeback, she is also preparing to reunite with group member Irene for a new subunit album, set for release by June. The duo’s previous collaboration, Monster, broke records in 2020, becoming the first K-pop girl group subunit to sell over 100,000 copies in its opening week.
