Chappell Roan is officially releasing her highly anticipated country track, “The Giver,” after teasing it for months. Fans were first introduced to the song during her Saturday Night Live performance in November, and the Missouri native recently sparked excitement again with a dial-in stunt on Instagram.
Roan announced that “The Giver” is now available for preorder on limited 7-inch aquamarine vinyls, dubbed the “The Lawyer Edition.” The vinyls feature a striking image of Roan in a sharp suit with slicked-back hair. While the initial batch of vinyls sold out quickly on her website, fans can sign up to be notified when the next stock arrives. Shipments are expected to begin around August 18.
In a playful Instagram post, Roan captioned the photo, “ur ex’s worst nightmare + she gets the job DONE,” referencing her lawyer-inspired look.
The announcement follows a mysterious dial-up stunt on her Instagram Story, where fans were prompted to call a number (629) 468-8646, leading them through a quirky voice menu offering various services, including a dentist, attorney, and plumber — all teasing the release of “The Giver.”
