Canadian rock duo cleopatrick has dropped a new music video for their track “Bad Guy,” offering a glimpse into their upcoming album Fake Moon, due out this March via Nowhere Special Recordings.
The video complements the song’s gritty sound, which vocalist Luke Gruntz describes as having “bit-crushed guitars, glitched vocals, and low-res samples.” Gruntz explains that the track was designed to evoke the feeling of being “recorded, produced, and mixed on a Nintendo Gamecube,” capturing the themes of guilt, repetition, and inescapable cycles.
Fans can expect Fake Moon to push the boundaries of the band’s raw, experimental rock sound when it arrives next month.
