Copenhagen-based hardcore band EYES has announced their upcoming album Spinner, set for release in April via Prosthetic Records. The album follows their 2023 release Congratulations.

Vocalist Victor Kaas shared that Spinner weaves a loose narrative through the lens of a fictional early ’80s anime episode. The 10-track album introduces a range of characters, each reflecting Kaas’ personal experiences, states of mind, and traits. Drawing inspiration from manga author Asano Inio’s works Goodnight Punpun and Dead Dead Demon’s De De De Destruction, Spinner explores themes of trauma, youth, and the emotional journey of leaving the past behind.
