Bloodstock Festival has revealed plans for a special Winter Gathering event, set to take place on Saturday, December 6, at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton. Following the success of its summer 2025 festival, which featured headliners Trivium, Machine Head, and Gojira, the winter gathering promises to be a unique metal spectacle.
Leading the charge for the festive event is doom metal legend Candlemass, who will headline in celebration of their 40th anniversary. The band expressed their excitement, sharing, “Candlemass are proud to be a part of the Bloodstock Winter Gathering! We have always felt welcome on British soil and we’re excited to be there once again and deliver our special brand of Swedish doom metal! See ya all soon… Love you!!!”
Other acts confirmed for the Winter Gathering include Venom Inc., who will perform Ave in full, along with Raised by Owls, Hellripper, Tortured Demon, King Kraken, Red Method, Thuum, and Hellbearer.
