Justin Bieber, Steve Carell, Ross Lynch, and other A-list celebrities are set to hit the ice for a special benefit hockey game, aimed at raising funds for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. The event, titled “Skate For LA Strong: A Celebration to Support the Fire Recovery Efforts in Los Angeles,” will take place at the Crypto Arena.
In addition to the celebrity players, big names like Will Ferrell, Snoop Dogg, Vince Vaughn, Danny DeVito, and Cobie Smulders will serve as coaches from behind the bench. The event will feature a four-team, single-elimination format, with hockey legends such as Jeremy Roenick, Rob Blake, Mark Messier, and Manon Rheaume joining the action, alongside athletes from various sports and First Responders who play hockey.
Bieber, a known hockey fan, has previously participated in celebrity games and played a notable role at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game. Carell, who showcased his puck skills on The Office, has a history of playing goalie at the collegiate level but will not be tending the net this time. All proceeds will benefit wildfire recovery efforts in Los Angeles.
