Canadian hip-hop icon k-os has unveiled the 2025 anniversary reissue of his landmark 2013 album BLack on BLonde, now titled BLack on BLonde+. This reissue celebrates the original double album’s genre-defying fusion of rock anthems and classic hip-hop beats, with a nod to Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde in its title.
BLack on BLonde features a stellar lineup of collaborations from artists such as Black Thought (The Roots), Travie McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), Emily Haines (Metric), Sebastien Grainger (Death From Above 1979), and Juno Award-winning Sam Roberts. Known for his fearless innovation, k-os further showcased his musical versatility by playing drums, guitar, and bass, alongside his signature rap and vocal styles. The reissue promises to renew the excitement for this genre-blurring classic.
