Drew Baldridge has reached a milestone in his career, securing his second No. 1 hit on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart with his empowering anthem, “Tough People.” The song surged to the top during the tracking period from February 14th to 20th, earning an impressive 863,529 streams and surpassing Blake Shelton’s “Texas,” which had spent three weeks at No. 1.
Shelton’s “Texas” experienced an 11% decline in impressions this week, landing at No. 2. Meanwhile, the most significant jump on the chart came from Luke Bryan’s upbeat 2024 single, “Country Song Came On,” which saw a remarkable 556% increase in impressions, reaching No. 44.
This week’s chart also saw the debut of Myles Smith’s revamped version of “Nice to Meet You,” featuring Lainey Wilson, which entered at No. 6. Other notable new entries include Kashus Culpepper’s “Out Of My Mind,” “Afternoon” and “Pour Me Out,” as well as Midland and Jon Pardi’s “Longneck Way To Go,” The Wiggles and Dolly Parton’s “Friends,” and Alli Walker’s “Kitchen Floor.”
