Austin-based death metal band CORPUS OFFAL is set to release their debut self-titled album in March via 20 Buck Spin. Formed from the remnants of CEREBRAL ROT, the band features former members of DEMONCY, FETID, CUASTIC WOUND, and BELL WITCH. The lineup includes guitarist/vocalist Ian Schwab, guitarist Clyle Lindstrom, bassist Jason Sachs, and drummer Jesse Shreibman.
The album was recorded at Jackpot! Recording Studio/Everything Hz with engineering by Billy Anderson (known for his work with MELVINS, SLEEP, and BELL WITCH), and mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound. The album’s artwork was designed by Karina Monzon, with layout by Dan Fried.
In celebration of the album’s upcoming release, CORPUS OFFAL has dropped a new music video for the title track. Directed, filmed, and edited by Chris Eaton, the video offers fans a first look at the band’s brutal new sound.
