Luke Morley, renowned lead guitarist of the legendary British rock band Thunder, has released his latest single, “Walking on Water”. The track marks the first preview of his upcoming solo album, set to carry the same name and release later this year.
Following the success of his critically acclaimed 2023 album Songs From The Blue Room, Morley continues to carve out his own artistic path. Known for his role in Thunder, which has enjoyed over 35 years of success, Morley’s solo work has resonated deeply with fans, especially after Thunder went on an indefinite hiatus in 2022 due to frontman Danny Bowes’ health recovery.
“Walking on Water” dives into themes of celebrity and power, imagining an unexpected return of Jesus. This release builds on Morley’s impressive chart success with his previous album, which topped multiple UK music charts.
