In his caption, Wallen expressed his long-held desire to write a meaningful song for his son, sharing, “Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son… None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be.” While acknowledging that “Superman” might not be flawless, Wallen conveyed immense pride in the song.
