Zach Bryan continues to fuel excitement among fans with a steady stream of teasers for his upcoming With Heaven On Top EP. While an official release date has yet to be announced, the Oklahoma native’s recent snippets suggest the project is fast approaching.
The latest preview, a track titled “Metal,” features Bryan’s introspective vocals accompanied by the haunting strum of his electric guitar. In the snippet, he croons with raw emotion, addressing a childhood friend who seems to have forgotten their humble roots. “Don’t tell me you don’t know where you’re from, boy / I know you too damn well,” Bryan sings, before highlighting the contrast between the friend’s new city life and their family’s past. With lyrics like, “They got you some watch in the city that sits there on your wrist / While grandaddy’s old timer sits in its case in some house you ain’t been,” it’s clear the song will carry a deep sense of nostalgia and reflection.
As the anticipation for Bryan’s new music builds, fans are eager to hear what else the With Heaven On Top EP will bring.
