Shaboozey has set a new milestone on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” now claiming the title for the longest-running No. 1 by a single artist. The track, which holds the top spot on the March 1 chart, surpasses Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road,” which dominated for 34 weeks in 2017.

This achievement makes “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” the longest-leading song by a solo artist since the Hot Country Songs chart’s inception in 1958. Only Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant to Be” has spent more time at the top, with a 50-week reign starting in December 2017.

For the week of February 14-20, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” amassed 59.8 million in all-format airplay audience, 16.2 million official U.S. streams, and 4,000 sales, according to Luminate.
