A new documentary, No Escape From Now, will offer an intimate look at Ozzy Osbourne’s health struggles since 2019 and the journey leading to his upcoming farewell concert in Birmingham, England this summer. Directed by Tania Alexander (known for Gogglebox), the film will premiere on Paramount+ later this year.
The documentary, which began filming in 2022 while Osbourne was recording his latest album, Patient Number 9, will follow his recovery and decision to perform one final time on July 5. The concert will mark Osbourne’s last solo performance, alongside his original Black Sabbath bandmates.
Osbourne recently shared that the farewell concert will not feature a full Black Sabbath set, although he plans to perform select songs with the band. “I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath, but I am doing little bits and pieces with them,” he told SiriusXM. The concert will also include performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, and more.
