Drake has announced the postponement of the remaining dates on his ongoing Anita Max Win Tour in Australia and New Zealand. The rapper cited a “scheduling conflict” as the reason for cutting the tour short. His team confirmed the news, stating that efforts are underway to reschedule the affected shows, with additional dates potentially being added.
“All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates,” a representative explained. “Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but due to the sold-out nature of these shows, any refunded tickets will be made available for resale. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
Drake’s tour began on February 4, with performances in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, before a two-show stint in Brisbane. The canceled shows include additional performances in Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, originally scheduled for next week and March.
The Australian leg of the tour has attracted attention due to Drake’s generosity, with the artist surprising fans with cash gifts. He donated $20,000 in Perth, $45,000 in Melbourne, and gifted a $30,000 VIP upgrade to a pregnant fan in Sydney.
Earlier this month, Drake released $ome $exy $ongs 4 U in collaboration with PartyNextDoor. The 21-track album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking Drake’s 14th chart-topping LP.
