Chinese singer-songwriter Tia Ray is set to make a significant mark at the 2025 South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival, where she will perform on March 11 as part of the International Nights event at Rivian Park. She is the only artist from mainland China to be invited to the prestigious festival and will deliver the grand finale performance alongside international stars such as British musician Sam Ryder and French electronic duo KAP BAMBINO.
Tia Ray, a celebrated figure in global music, has earned accolades like the Best Female Vocalist Award at the 15th Singapore Freshmusic Awards and a spot on Billboard’s 2024 Women in Music Global Force list. Her upcoming debut English album and role as a mentor on CHUANG ASIA further cement her as a rising global talent.
In addition to her Rivian Park set, Tia Ray will also perform at Antone’s on March 10. Fans can catch a glimpse of her excitement for the festival on TikTok, where she teased, “Catch me at SXSW next month!”
