Jisoo and Rosé Shine on Billboard Charts with Record-Breaking Hits

Blackpink’s Jisoo has made a powerful solo debut, topping Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart with her track “Earthquake,” from her first solo EP Amortage, released on February 14. The song also made notable appearances, ranking No. 47 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 22 on the Global 200 excl. US charts.

Jisoo’s album has been a major success, dominating the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 45 regions and selling over half a million copies in its first week, setting a new record for the most sales by a K-pop female solo artist. Her previous solo release, “Flower,” made history in 2023 by becoming the first-ever K-pop female solo album to sell over a million copies in its first week.

Meanwhile, Rosé continues to reign on the charts, securing the No. 7 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks with “APT.,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars. The track has enjoyed 18 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 3.
