Shack is returning to the stage for their first live performance in over ten years. The Liverpudlian band, fronted by Michael Head and featuring his brother John, bassist Peter Wilkinson, and drummer Mick Hurst, will perform at the Liverpool Olympia on Friday, April 25.

The group, who debuted in 1988 with Zilch, has faced several setbacks throughout their career, including the loss of the masters for their 1995 album Waterpistol in a fire at their former label. After regrouping, Shack released H.M.S. Fable and Here’s Tom With The Weather, before signing with Noel Gallagher’s Sour Mash label for The Corner of Miles and Gil in 2007.

Head has also been involved in Michael Head & the Red Elastic Band, with their album Dear Scott released under The Coral’s Modern Sky UK label.

Tickets for the highly anticipated gig go on sale this Saturday, March 1, at 9 a.m. Don’t miss your chance to see Shack live once again.
