Rap music icon Jelly Roll made a heartfelt return to his alma mater, Antioch High School in Tennessee, to offer support to students in the wake of a tragic shooting that occurred on January 22. The incident, which took place in the school’s cafeteria, resulted in the deaths of a 16-year-old student and the shooter, with two other students injured.
Jelly Roll’s visit came shortly after the release of his album Beautifully Broken, which marked his first appearance at the top of the charts. The album also followed his debut Grammy nominations, including best new artist and best country duo/group performance for his collaboration with Lainey Wilson on “Save Me.”
