Rock legend Don Airey has unveiled his latest single, “Moon Rising,” from his highly anticipated solo album Pushed to the Edge, due for release on March 28. The track, now available for streaming and as an instant grat download with album pre-orders, showcases Airey’s signature style with melodic depth, dynamic tempo shifts, and the powerful sound of his Hammond A100 organ.
“Moon Rising” features an exciting mid-song clash between Airey and drummer Jon Finnigan, building up to a fiery guitar solo by Deep Purple’s Simon McBride. While Tell Me introduced vocalist Carl Sentance, this time Mitchel Emms (The Voice UK) takes center stage on vocals. Fans can expect more sonic brilliance when Pushed to the Edge drops next month.
