Country music singer Jordan Davis has confirmed that his highly anticipated new album is complete, and he’s eager to share it with fans. Davis revealed that the record is influenced by his Louisiana roots, venturing into a more bluesy, roots-driven sound.
“I’m proud of the songs we’ve put together,” Davis shared. “I’m proud of some of the risks we took on some of these songs… now we’ll put it out and see how it goes.” While Davis kept most details of the album under wraps, he emphasized that he aimed to recapture the authentic feel of his 2018 debut, Home State. His songwriting process was also inspired by artists like Amos Lee and Marcus King, with Davis noting, “It’s kind of cool to reinvent and not do the same old thing that you’ve been doing.”
Fans can expect a fresh yet deeply personal sound from Davis as he looks forward to the release of his latest work.
