G-Dragon’s two highly anticipated concerts in Korea have sold out within hours, according to his agency, Galaxy Corporation. The tickets, which went on sale Thursday both domestically and internationally, attracted over 240,000 concurrent users on the local ticketing site alone.
Set to take place on March 29-30 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, the concerts will host 64,000 fans across both dates, marking the start of G-Dragon’s first solo tour in nearly eight years. His previous tour, the largest solo K-pop tour ever, drew approximately 650,000 fans across 36 shows.
This tour follows the release of his third solo studio album Ubermensch, which topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 28 regions and sold over 620,000 copies on its release day.
