Mumbai: NCT, the K-pop sensation that’s quickly gaining popularity among Indian music fans, is turning heads with a new update to their mobile game NCT Zone. The latest update features the boy band members dressed in sleek, form-fitting office attire, complete with ID badges and bold, stylish glasses that have fans in a frenzy.
The corporate fantasy update, unveiled by Take One Co., has set social media ablaze. One fan from India commented, “It’s like Fifty Shades of K-pop,” as the game saw a surge in downloads across major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
This new update comes just as NCT Zone prepares to expand beyond digital platforms with pop-up experiences in Tokyo and Seoul. From March 14-30, Japanese fans can attend the Neo University Party in Tokyo, while a special NCT Zone club experience will be available in Seoul’s Gangnam district from March 20-23 at Kyuu Café.
In addition to these events, the game will also be featured at NCT’s Wish Asia Tour Log concert in Seoul from March 21-23. Fans will have the chance to interact with their virtual idols while enjoying the live performance.
Industry experts predict an Indian tour announcement may be on the horizon, given the band’s growing fanbase in India. Indian choreographers are also reportedly drawing inspiration from NCT’s choreography for upcoming dance routines.
Players around the world can join the office-themed fun until April 9 through an archive event, with the chance to win autographed Polaroid photos of the band members in their boardroom attire, adding a playful twist to the idea of a “performance review.”
