During his set, Rocky debuted a new song with lyrics that appeared to comment on the ongoing rap beef between Drake, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar. In one line, he rapped, “I ain’t on J. Cole, I ain’t on Drake, I ain’t on Kendrick side / I choose homicide, they gon’ see a different side,” making it clear that he was remaining neutral, but with a strong and defiant tone.
Another line, “N****s do the most when they irrelevant / Claiming A$AP, but we were never friends,” seemed to target A$AP Relli, who had previously filed a lawsuit against Rocky.
Adding fuel to the fire, Rocky teamed up with UK grime legend Skepta to perform their 2018 hit “Praise The Lord (Da Shine).” Fans on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), reacted enthusiastically, calling it the “Greatest USA X UK collaboration of all time.”
