Rising K-pop boy group TWS is gearing up for their comeback with the release of their third extended play (EP), titled Try With Us. The EP, which explores the theme of embracing new experiences, will be available on April 21, according to a press release from their label, Pledis Entertainment.
Try With Us invites listeners to join the six-member group as they embark on a journey of trying things they’ve never done before, Pledis explained.
A teaser for the EP was shared on the YouTube channel of Hybe Labels, the parent company of Pledis. The video begins with school-related imagery, familiar from the group’s previous releases, but this is soon interrupted by rockets, symbolizing the start of a new adventure. The clip transitions into a series of “school memories,” featuring scenes like a school, a bicycle, and books. These visuals then evolve into “exhilarating scenes,” including a burning skateboard and fireworks, which reflect the group’s coming-of-age transformation, according to Pledis.
The group has also revealed their promotional schedule for the album, which kicks off with a trailer on March 27, followed by concept films and photos.
This EP follows Last Bell, released five months ago, which focused on farewells during graduation. TWS debuted in January 2024 with their first EP, Sparkling Blue, which featured the viral hit single “Plot Twist.”
Since their debut, TWS has quickly gained recognition, winning Best New Male Artist at the 2024 MAMA Awards. Meanwhile, “Plot Twist” made a strong impact, spending eight weeks on the Billboard Global 200 chart and ending 2024 at the top of South Korea’s Melon streaming platform annual chart, according to Pledis.
