Boy band Seventeen made history on Friday by becoming the first-ever K-pop group to headline Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025, one of Latin America’s largest music festivals, in Monterrey, Mexico.

The 13-member band performed for an hour on the main Tecate Light stage, showcasing 13 of their hit songs. Seventeen’s setlist included popular tracks like “Love, Money, Fame” (2024), “Left & Right” (2020), and “God of Music” (2023). The group also featured special unit performances, including Hoshi and Woozi’s collaboration, “Water” (2024), the hip-hop team’s “Rain” (2024), the performance team’s “Cheers to Youth” (2024), and more.

The audience responded enthusiastically, singing along to every song, according to Seventeen’s agency, Pledis Entertainment.

“Seventeen proved once again that they are festival champions by connecting with the crowd and encouraging them to cheer along,” the agency stated in a press release on Sunday.

Following their successful performance in Mexico, Seventeen will hold a meet-and-greet with fans in Japan on April 24, 26, and 27 at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome, before heading to the Saitama Super Arena on May 10 and 11.
