Warner Music MENA has formed a new partnership with three of Morocco’s top rappers: Dizzy DROS, Snor, and Kouz1. This collaboration is part of the label’s strategy to expand its influence in the Moroccan music scene, according to a company press release.
These artists are known for their distinct styles and have large, dedicated fan bases. Warner Music MENA believes that this partnership will help foster the next generation of Moroccan music talent.
On Instagram, Warner MENA described the deal as a “power shift” and declared, “North Africa, get ready — we’re rewriting the game.”
Dizzy DROS is one of the most prominent figures in Moroccan rap. With hit songs like “M3a L3chran,” “Men Hna,” and “Al Motanabbi,” he has made a significant impact. He shared his excitement about the partnership on social media, calling it “the biggest deal in the history of Moroccan rap.” “Legacy isn’t built overnight. It takes years of work behind the scenes, belief when no one’s watching, and moves that speak louder than words,” Dizzy DROS wrote.
Snor is known for his mysterious style and his focus on artistic detail. His song “Hkaya” has accumulated over 120 million views on YouTube, solidifying his place in the scene.
Kouz1 brings a fresh perspective by blending modern African rhythms with Moroccan music. His unique fusion of Darija and Afrobeat has set him apart, and he recently announced the release of new songs for his fans.
Imane Fassih, Managing Director for North Africa at Warner Music, expressed excitement about the new signings. “Each of them has a unique style, and we are proud to support them as they continue to shape the music industry,” she said.
