Rosé of BLACKPINK has tied FIFTY FIFTY’s record on the Billboard Hot 100.
On April 15, Billboard announced that Rosé’s song “APT.”, featuring Bruno Mars, marked its 25th week on the Hot 100 chart. It remains at No. 13 this week, maintaining a strong position.
“APT.” now shares the record with FIFTY FIFTY’s 2023 hit “Cupid” for the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist in Hot 100 history. In terms of K-pop acts overall, “APT.” is one of only five K-pop songs to reach this milestone. Along with “Cupid,” the other songs to achieve 25 weeks on the chart are PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” BTS’s “Dynamite,” and BTS’s Jimin’s “Who.”
Rosé’s solo album rosie also achieved a new record, extending its run on the Billboard 200 for the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist. It spent its 18th consecutive week on the chart at No. 98.
In addition, Rosé extended her record for the most weeks spent on Billboard’s Artist 100 by a female K-pop soloist, ranking No. 68 this week in her 26th week on the chart.
“APT.” continues to perform well on several other Billboard charts. It held steady at No. 2 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts this week. It also rose to No. 7 on the Pop Airplay chart, which measures plays on mainstream U.S. Top 40 radio stations, and maintained its position at No. 11 on the Radio Songs chart, which tracks radio plays across all genres in the U.S.
On the Digital Song Sales chart, “APT.” remained at No. 10, marking it as the 10th best-selling song of the week in the U.S., and climbed to No. 17 on the Streaming Songs chart.
