The 2025 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards are approaching, and country music fans have much to look forward to. New stars like Ella Langley and veteran performers such as Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Chris Stapleton will be in the spotlight. When and Where to Watch
The awards ceremony will take place on May 8 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, just north of Dallas. The show will stream live at 7 p.m. ET on Prime Video and Amazon Music’s Twitch channel. Reba McEntire, a 16-time ACM winner, will return as the host.
Who Is Nominated?
Ella Langley leads the nominations this year with eight total, including Female Artist of the Year and Female New Artist. Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Morgan Wallen follow closely with seven nominations each. Chris Stapleton has six nominations, while Riley Green and Post Malone each have five.
In the night’s biggest category, Entertainer of the Year, Johnson, Wilson, Wallen, and Stapleton are all nominated, alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, and Jelly Roll.

Album of the Year: Megan Moroney’s Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine), Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind, Jelly Roll’s Beautifully Broken, Zach Top’s Cold Beer & Country Music, and Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion will compete for this honor.
Single of the Year: Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Cody Johnson’s “Dirt Cheap,” Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help,” Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse,” and Ella Langley and Riley Green’s “You Look Like You Love Me” are up for this award.
What’s Noteworthy This Year?
Langley’s eight nominations are largely due to her hit single “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green. The song is nominated in multiple categories, including Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Event of the Year, and Visual Media of the Year, both as an artist and a director.
On the other hand, Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed album Cowboy Carter, which won both the Grammy for Album of the Year and Country Album of the Year in February, did not receive any ACM nominations. Similarly, Miranda Lambert’s Postcards from Texas was also left out.
Who Will Perform?
Lainey Wilson, the 2024 Entertainer of the Year, is set to perform at the awards show. Other performers include Blake Shelton and Eric Church.
