TH Entertainment, LLC and Mercury Studios have announced the upcoming release of three highly anticipated country music videos set for May.
The first release, Iconic Women of Country, arrives on May 9. This Blu-ray and digital video takes viewers through the lives and music of 14 legendary female country artists. Featuring interviews with Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea, and Wynonna Judd, the video pays tribute to iconic voices like Tammy Wynette, Kitty Wells, Dottie West, Patsy Montana, Loretta Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Jean Shepard, Lynn Anderson, Patsy Cline, Jeannie C. Riley, Connie Smith, Brenda Lee, Dolly Parton, and Minnie Pearl.
On May 16, the release of Still Playin’ Possum: Music & Memories of George Jones will celebrate the country legend’s legacy. This Blu-ray/DVD combo and digital video captures a special one-night-only concert, filmed in April 2023 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The concert, marking the tenth anniversary of Jones’ passing, features performances and interviews from stars like Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jelly Roll, Tanya Tucker, Wynonna, Travis Tritt, Jamey Johnson, Trace Adkins, and many more, showcasing how deeply Jones’ music continues to influence country artists across generations.
Finally, on May 30, Concert From My Place with Wynonna will offer fans an intimate performance by Wynonna Judd at her Nashville-area home. Accompanied by her husband, Cactus Moser, on drums, Wynonna will perform a mix of country classics, Judds hits, and her own solo favorites. Grammy Award-winner Brandi Carlile will also join for special renditions of “Love Is Alive” and “Together Again.”
