Spate Media, a creative media and digital storytelling company, has launched its newest original series, SpateVerse Sound Lounge. The series combines hip hop culture, Afrofuturism, and superhero themes, further expanding Spate Media’s SpateVerse—an animated universe that highlights powerful Black characters.
SpateVerse Sound Lounge features music-driven short episodes designed for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. The series focuses on characters such as Jade “Jet” Morrison, Shay the Producer, Keesha the Editor, and Jazmine the Legal Boss, all of whom wear headphones. This symbolizes their connection to music, creativity, and self-expression. Each episode explores themes of Black superheroes, urban storytelling, and digital culture, blending modern animation with the real-world energy of the hip hop industry.
In addition to SpateVerse Sound Lounge, Spate Media is developing several other original projects:
Spate Concert Watch: A fast-paced show highlighting major hip hop and R&B tours, including stars like Drake and Travis Scott.
Spate News in One Minute: Quick updates on music, entertainment, and viral stories, optimized for mobile-first audiences.
Show Your Influence: A series that showcases celebrities and everyday people using their platforms to create real change in their communities.
Spate Animation Studios: An indie animation studio focused on creating original content rooted in music, culture, and empowerment.

Looking ahead, Spate Media is also planning to launch Spate University, a forward-thinking school focused on technology, business, and creative entrepreneurship. The goal is to empower the next generation of content creators and innovators through education that is culturally relevant.
