Emerging from the music creation app BandLab, artist d4vd has become a major success, including being the first artist to reach a billion streams with a song made on the platform.
As his debut album, Withered, approaches its release, d4vd is teaming up with BandLab for a special three-day pop-up event in New York to promote the album.
The event will offer fans a chance to experience video footage, view outfits, and see a replica of the cupboard where d4vd first began creating music. Additionally, attendees can look forward to a meet-and-greet, an acoustic performance, and a workshop for aspiring creators.
In a nod to BandLab’s role in d4vd’s success, the album will also be available in a BandLab Extended Edition, featuring two extra tracks. The company highlighted that much of Withered was recorded using the BandLab app.
With d4vd currently boasting 30.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, even before the album’s release this Friday, the event is a reminder of the platform’s most successful story to date.
The pop-up will run from Friday to Sunday.
