BLACKPINK’s Rosé has made history on the Billboard Hot 100 with her hit song “APT.”
On April 22, Billboard announced that “APT.”, a collaboration between Rosé and Bruno Mars, has remained on the Hot 100 for 26 consecutive weeks. The song held its position at No. 13 for the week ending April 26.
With this achievement, “APT.” has surpassed FIFTY FIFTY’s 2023 hit “Cupid,” which had previously set the record for the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist on the Hot 100 with 25 weeks.
“APT.” is now the fourth K-pop song to chart for 26 weeks on the Hot 100, joining the ranks of PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” BTS’s “Dynamite,” and BTS’s Jimin’s “Who.”
In addition to this milestone, Rosé’s solo album rosie continues to break records. It remains on the Billboard 200, holding the No. 98 spot in its 19th consecutive week. This makes it the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist on the chart.
Rosé also extended her reign on the Billboard Artist 100, where she claimed No. 72 for the 27th week, further cementing her position as the longest-charting female K-pop soloist.
Outside of the Hot 100, “APT.” performed well on several other Billboard charts. It stayed at No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 3 on the Global 200, and No. 10 on the Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, it ranked No. 16 on the Streaming Songs chart, No. 11 on the Pop Airplay chart, and No. 15 on the Radio Songs chart, which tracks radio plays across all genres in the U.S.
Rosé’s latest achievements mark a significant milestone in her career, solidifying her place in music history.
