Noel Gallagher would love to have his own Las Vegas residency.
The former Oasis rocker admitted that when he feels too old for extended tours, he likes the idea of a run in Sin City “in later life”.
Speaking on The Matt Morgan Podcast, he said: “Would I do Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in Vegas? Possibly later in life.
“You don’t have to go anywhere. You live in the hotel where you play.
“Elvis Presley used to get an elevator from his room to the stage – I wouldn’t mind doing that.
Noel also opened up about the current High Flying Birds tour, revealing his preparations for a forthcoming gig in Amsterdam.
He added: “We’ve decided we’re going to rehearse in Amsterdam – smoking wacky baccy, that’s what I’m going to do.
“We need two days of rehearsal to dust off the cobwebs.
“I’m going to Holland, Italy, France and somewhere else on the next tour.”
Once the tour is over, the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hitmaker will take a break and actually go on vacation to Vegas, where he’s sure to catch U2 on their own residency.
