Olivia Rodrigo has canceled her Australian promotional tour due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
It is confirmed that the Traitor hitmaker will no longer be touring Australia in support of her latest album, Guts, just four days before her scheduled arrival in Sydney.
The 20-year-old was due to do a series of media interviews to promote her second album, but the events have now been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
“Olivia is devastated that she won’t be able to make it, but is so excited to see her Australian Livies (fans) in 2024,” a spokesperson for Universal Music Australia said.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the Déjà Vu singer would be traveling to Australia to promote her new album. This follows her record-breaking success in the country.
Olivia was scheduled to host a Q&A session with her Australian fans on September 22. She was also expected to take part in a number of interviews with the local media.
