With the start of December on Friday, the British public are clearly gearing up for the festive season. Three Christmas songs are likely to enter this week’s Official Singles Chart Top 10. Wham!’s Last Christmas (6) and Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You (7) are both set to return to the UK Top 10. Sam Ryder’s Amazon Music Original Your Christmas To Me (10) could be his second Top 10 hit.
Meanwhile, Jack Harlow is a killer, baby. The Louisville rapper is at number 1 in the UK for a third week with Lovin On Me.
US singer/songwriter Noah Kahan has spent five weeks in the Top 10 so far with Stick Season, and if he keeps up the current momentum he could enter the Top 3 for the first time this week (3).
With all three songs riding high, they are already serious contenders for the coveted Christmas chart crown. The biggest chart race of the year starts on December 15th, see who they’re up against in the list of the Official Christmas Number 1 Candidates 2023.
Further down the chart, we could also see festive rises for Brenda Lee’s Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree (17) and Jorja Smith’s cover of East-17’s Stay Another Day, another Amazon Music Original (18).
Finally, Zara Larsson & David Guetta’s collaboration On My Love climbs two places since Friday. This puts the track on track to break the Top 20 for the first time this week.
