In a UK festival exclusive, the first announcement last month was that iconic British band Duran Duran would be part of the line-up. Latitude will provide the perfect stage for Duran Duran to showcase the ground-breaking sound and style of their music. Duran Duran have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and have had 21 top 20 hits in the UK. Her numerous honours include eight lifetime achievement awards, two GRAMMY®s, two Ivories, two BRITs (including “Distinguished Service to Music” in 2004) and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Duran Duran’s John Taylor said: “We are thrilled to be making Latitude our only UK appearance next summer. It’s a great festival and it’s been a long time since Duran have been to this part of the country. In fact, it’s our first time in Suffolk. We are riding high on the reception that our new album, Danse Macabre, has received and are looking forward to bringing the music from that record all the way back to our debut album in 1981. See you there!”

Hot on the heels of the announcement of their huge Summer Solstice II show, Leicester’s iconic rock superstars Kasabian will also headline Latitude with an exclusive festival performance. With six UK number one albums to their name and over 5.5 million albums sold worldwide, the band have won a BRIT Award, seven NME Awards and headlined Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festivals. Last summer, The Alchemist’s Euphoria, their seventh studio album and sixth No. 1, was released to great acclaim. Fans can expect a career spanning set and possibly even material from their highly anticipated forthcoming album, Happenings, which is expected to be released in time for Latitude in the summer of 2024. Known for their infectious energy, chart-topping hits and explosive live performances, this will be a must-see performance.

In a triumphant return to the stage, London Grammar will also headline the bill. They will showcase the ethereal pop prowess that has garnered over a billion streams. In 2024 they will be back on tour again. London Grammar burst onto the UK music scene in 2013. Their debut album, If You Wait, sold over two million copies. It went on to win an Ivor Novello, two AIM Awards, a Brit Award nomination and the iTunes Album of the Year award. Their sophomore album, The Truth Is A Beautiful Thing, was released in June 2017 and didn’t disappoint, debuting at number one on the UK charts. The group was once again nominated for a prestigious Brit Award. In August 2020, during a global hiatus, they returned with the euphoric single ‘Baby It’s You’, which paved the way for their transformative #1 BRIT-nominated album Californian Soil in 2021. The album’s Balearic, trance-driven energy is made for a festival stage. The trio’s intoxicating mix of beat-driven, soulful, and Reid’s stop-you-in-your-tracks vocals is mesmerizing on record and breathtaking on stage.
