In an exciting announcement, 54-year-old music sensation Gwen Stefani is set to take center stage as the headliner for the Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate, a pregame extravaganza leading up to the NFL’s flagship event on February 11.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Stefani shared in a statement, “We all know how massive of an event Super Bowl is, and I am so honored I get to be a part of it and perform at the Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate.”
Gwen Stefani is scheduled to deliver a 50-minute set from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The star-studded lineup will also feature special guests from the NFL and prominent TikTok creators, creating an electric atmosphere for fans.
This marks the fourth consecutive year of the NFL’s collaboration with TikTok for the tailgate show, which will be broadcast on the NFL’s TikTok account. Additionally, segments of Stefani’s performance will be featured on CBS’s ‘Super Bowl LVIII Pregame Show.’
The TikTok Tailgate has become a highly anticipated tradition, with previous headliners including Miley Cyrus in 2021, The Chainsmokers in 2022, and The Black Keys and Jason Derulo in 2023.
In a parallel development, Usher is set to take the spotlight during the Super Bowl halftime show. The 45-year-old singer, who previously shared the stage with Black Eyed Peas in 2011, expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m really happy that Jay-Z and also Roc Nation really put thought into making certain that they could bring to the world this kind of experience. It is definitely going to be a moment to remember.”
Adding a personal touch to his performance, Usher revealed that his 14-year-old son Naviyd will serve as the “musical director” for the show, highlighting the generational significance of the upcoming halftime spectacle.
