This honor places him among esteemed figures like Sir Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, Joan Armatrading, and Sting, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career. The announcement of this accolade came on Tuesday (26.03.24) from the Ivors Academy, an institution that celebrates the finest songwriters and composers in the UK.

Expressing his pride in this recognition, Bruce Springsteen remarked, “In addition to recognizing my songwriting, the award stands as a tribute to the fans and friends who have supported me and my work for the last 50 years. This entire country has made me feel welcome every step of the way, and for this, I will always remain deeply appreciative.”
