Amazon Music has announced its return to broadcasting live behind the scenes from The Ivors, featuring a Twitch stream hosted by Zach Sang and TikTok star Ayamé. The broadcast will include red carpet interviews with Ayamé, backstage reactions from winners with Zach Sang, and exclusive performances from nominees METTE and Victoria Canal. Additionally, viral sensation Angelina Jordan will deliver a special backstage performance with award-winning songwriter Toby Gad, and there will be exclusive interviews with The War on Drugs and KT Tunstall. The behind-the-scenes livestream from the awards ceremony at Grosvenor House in London will be available on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch from 16:00 BST on Thursday, 23rd May.
Since the Ivor Novello Awards were first presented in 1956, they have been regarded as the pinnacle of creative musical achievement. A win holds a special place in a songwriter’s heart, as The Ivors Academy judging panel consists of acclaimed songwriters and composers. Past winners include Adele, Stormzy, Annie Lennox, Amy Winehouse, Joan Armatrading, Sir Paul McCartney, and John Lennon.
The Ivors Academy has already announced that Bruce Springsteen will receive its highest honor, becoming the latest Fellow of The Ivors Academy. The iconic US musician will be inducted into Fellowship at The Ivors with Amazon Music on 23rd May, making him the first international songwriter to become a Fellow in The Ivors Academy’s 80-year history.
Bruce Springsteen, one of the most influential and important songwriters of all time, is being recognized for his outstanding contribution to the craft of songwriting and his impact on the UK’s cultural landscape. He will become the 27th Fellow of the Academy, joining a prestigious roster that includes Sir Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, Joan Armatrading, and Sting.

On Thursday, 23rd May 2024, The Ivors with Amazon Music will honor outstanding songwriters and composers across 14 categories, including Songwriter of the Year with Amazon Music, Outstanding Song Collection with PRS for Music, Visionary Award with Amazon Music, Special International Award, and Outstanding Contribution to British Music. The 2024 winners will be revealed at The Ivors with Amazon Music at Grosvenor House in London.
