The iconic R&B group TLC has announced the postponement of several Canadian tour dates following medical advice for member Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins.
T-Boz informed fans that she and several other tour members are currently battling the flu.
“We deeply regret to inform you that we must cancel the upcoming date,” the duo stated regarding their scheduled concert in New Brunswick. “Unfortunately, a few members of our tour, including T-Boz, have fallen ill with the flu. As a result, she has lost her voice. Doctors have advised her not to perform this week.”
The illness will impact four of their tour dates, though the new dates for these concerts have not yet been announced.
TLC now consists of T-Boz and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, following the tragic death of their third member, Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes, in a car accident in 2002.
